Scope

What do these terms cover?

These terms apply to the Harbor app and this site. By using the service, you agree to them.

Eligibility

Who can use the app?

You must be at least 13, able to form a contract, and authorized to use the app for the vehicles you add. Please keep your credentials secure.

Service

What does the service do?

Harbor lets you add cars, compare quotes to typical ranges, save quote and maintenance history, and build a maintenance plan with charts and insights. You can ask the AI coach for context. Receipt scanning may be available on Premium to pre-fill a draft from a photo or PDF. Premium features may include detailed AI responses, Decision Assist, AI history/saved answers, long-term outlooks, insights/charts, and multi-car garage totals; features can change or be limited over time. The service is informational only; it is not a repair shop or mechanic, and it is not meant for emergency situations. It does not replace a licensed mechanic or a vehicle inspection.

AI

How does AI guidance work?

  • AI guidance is informational and may be wrong; it is not professional mechanic advice, and you should confirm safety-critical decisions with a qualified mechanic. To answer your question, we may send your question and relevant car, quote, or history details you choose to include to Google Gemini; we aim to minimize personal information, so please avoid sharing sensitive data. If you are Premium and choose to save, we store your AI history and saved answers.
Responsibilities

What do we ask of you?

  • Share accurate information about your vehicles, quotes, and services.
  • Use the app for lawful, personal purposes and respect others' rights.
  • Do not upload shop accusations, unlawful content, or data you do not have rights to share.
  • Confirm safety-critical decisions with a qualified mechanic.
Use

What uses are not allowed?

  • Do not interfere with or reverse engineer the service, scrape it, or bulk-export data.
  • Do not introduce malware or try to bypass security or privacy settings.
  • Do not use the app for emergency response or high-risk scenarios.
Content

Who owns your content?

You own the content you add (car details, quotes, photos/attachments, notes, AI questions, saved answers, coach notes). You give us a limited license to store, process, and display it so we can run the service and the optional benchmarks you enable. You are responsible for having the rights to what you submit.

Billing

How do subscriptions and billing work?

Premium is offered through in-app purchases managed by the App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat. Store terms govern billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds; you can manage or cancel in your store settings. We use your subscription status to unlock Premium features.

Warranty

What is (and isn't) guaranteed?

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, uptime, or suitability for your specific vehicle or situation.

Limits

What are the liability limits?

To the extent allowed by law, Harbor and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Ending

How can access end?

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms or misuse the service. You can start account deletion in Privacy & Safety or by emailing harborappteam@gmail.com; deletion removes your account, stored data, and uploads.

Changes

Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features, or discontinue parts of the service. When reasonable, we will provide notice in the app and post updates on this site.

Disputes

Dispute resolution

Please contact harborappteam@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve concerns informally.

Law

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Colorado law. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless applicable law says otherwise.

Updates

How do we handle changes?

We may update these terms. If we do, we will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. When reasonable, we will also provide an in-app notice.
